Why can’t people just like the true & simple things in life? Awaken that little child in you..n c the beauty of life.

In our ever increasing rush to amass wealth & fame we miss the simple & wonderful pleasures of life.

Yesterday I happened to see these very cute siblings of a construction worker couple. Often wondered how life would be for them, living in make shift tents, the kids loitering around in rags. Yes...they are poor, they lack all the so called mannerisms...but these kids know how to enjoy every moment of their life..The older boy who must be a little younger than 3 years was so lovingly feeding his 1 year old baby sister when their parents were at work...they play with simple handmade toys made of the “useless” things & in the rain & slush, mindless of any disease they could contract & totally oblivious of the chaotic world. They live the moment absolutely & entirely & are so happy!

But as they advance in age they learn all sorts of humbug...fight with each other for trivial matters & take adverse steps to overpower the other.  And for the richer ones, it is the fight for ancestral property & recognition starting from the fight for remote controls at home.

They seize to grow, but learn to act in public. Where are we heading?...This civilization is not taking us anywhere. Sometimes, I just gaze at the open sky & the beaming full moon & wonder how many of us actually enjoy the pleasure of taking a few minutes of our lives to experience these gifts of nature. The fact is, we are all in such a mad hurry to go somewhere, we don’t even know where...that we miss all these gifts of the divine just because it is available free of cost J What a sad race...

I've had people asking me "How can u remain so blissful during your trying times & not so surprisingly I've even had people complain as they don't see me mourn...
Mourn what???? A few learning lessons of life...??

What they don't seem to acknowledge is the fact that all of us are blessed & we need to celebrate  life, rather than crib & wish sadness for others. Curb the urge to see someone miserable, enjoy the rain, the silence, the beauty of life...After all your funeral will depend on the weather conditions & not the money you've earned....:-)

  1. Every word describes what our race goes through every day. It is wishful thinking to hope for a world of just happiness (though it exists in droplets around the globe). Very few know how to live that life. Who ever has it needs to cling onto it like the breath they take. It is rare. Very difficult to come by, and unfortunate that the majority of our race does not have or see it.
